At Marty’s Pharmacy, sterile prescription medications are prepared in our state-of-the-art cleanroom. Our cleanroom and equipment are certified by TechScan, Inc. Our pharmacists have been trained for sterile compounding. Because of the strict guidelines for sterile compounding, it is imperative that proper compounding technique and preparation are followed. Also, the storage and handling of chemicals, sterility testing of the finished preparation, and rigorous cleaning and periodic testing of the cleanroom itself must also be completed. Testing is documented to provide practitioners the confidence in the quality of our sterile preparations.
